Amy Piland (ext. 1127) joined Hayes Barton UMC in 2010 and joined the staff in 2014. As Director of Membership and Lay Involvement, she promotes all areas of church membership by assimilating members into ministries, classes, and service projects both inside and outside Hayes Barton. She strives to keep the church a warm, welcoming environment through the welcome ministry, lay leadership team, greeter program, pew steward program, and visitor ministry.

 

Prior to Hayes Barton, Amy worked in athletic fundraising, for the NC State Wolfpack Club, and for the UNC Rams Club. She and her husband Jared, a CPA with Batchelor, Tillery, and Roberts, have 2 young boys, Jameson and Whitton.
