Child Care at Hayes Barton

We would like to welcome you and the youngest members of your family to Hayes Barton. We strive to create a safe and loving environment for all of God’s children. You will find nurturing staff and adult volunteers who show God’s love and care to the youngest infants through kindergarten-aged children. 

 

Your child’s safety is our top priority and that is why all of our childcare staff have had background checks and are trained to provide infant and child first aid and CPR if necessary. We abide by our Safe Sanctuaries policy at all times. Learn more about Safe Sanctuaries here.

 

Childcare is provided on the lower level of the Well. As you enter the church building from the Reid Street parking lot, take an immediate right to enter the Preschool department.

Check-in Process

 

When you enter the Preschool area, you will be greeted by a Nursery Coordinator who will walk you through our child check-in procedure and assist you in determining which classroom is appropriate for your child. There are three rooms, located in the Well, in our department: an Infant Room (105), a Crawler Room (103), and a Toddler Room (102). Once your contact and safety information are gathered and your child is checked in, your child will be welcomed into their classroom by a trained and qualified nursery worker or member volunteer. If there are any problems during the service, you will be contacted via a text message on your cell phone by the Nursery Coordinator.

 

Child Care Hours

 

The nursery is open on Sunday mornings and for Wednesday evening programs. It is also available during special services and events as announced or with reservations.

 

• Sunday Morning Services and Sunday School: 8:20am – 12:30pm

• Wednesday Evening Programs: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

• Special Services and Events: to be announced/by reservation
