Preschool Children

Sunday School

We provide Sunday School classes for children age two (as of August 31) through Kindergarten. Our dedicated teachers coordinate age-appropriate lessons, activities and projects which encourage participation. We emphasize God’s love for all of His children using the Deep Blue curriculum. A music leader rotates through the classes teaching the children Christian songs to enjoy singing and sharing with family and friends.

Extended Session

Each Sunday, children ages two through kindergarten may enjoy “Extended Session” which lasts from 10:45a.m. until the conclusion of the 11:00 service. Children can attend the first part of the worship service to participate in “Time with Young Disciples.” They can then return to the Preschool area with a coordinator to attend “Extended Session” in their appropriate Sunday School classroom. Fun activities, play time, Bible stories, and a light snack await them.

Elementary Children

Our elementary age children participate in a comprehensive Bible study during the Sunday School hour. Deep Blue is the curriculum we use which includes multimedia resources designed to engage children in a variety of ways. Grade-level activities include movement, verbal and visual skill-building.

Every month, our first through fifth graders are invited to a fellowship Friday night for dinner and a fun activity with our children's ministry directors and volunteers. Check our Events page for upcoming dates!

Children's Spiritual Academy

The Children’s Spiritual Academy is a Bible study for all children ages three through fifth grade. We meet each Wednesday night from September through May. CSA is an intentional plan of study for children in our congregation to help them grow deeper in their discipleship.

The children’s study follows the adult Bible study that also meets on Wednesday nights. Each week we focus on topics that move us toward a better understanding of our role as Christians. The topics are taught using methods that meet the needs of all ages in attendance. Lessons include lots of “hands on” and immersive opportunities such as crafts, games, stories, drama, and cooking.
