Traditional Worship

We gather on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00am in the Sanctuary to observe and celebrate the Lord’s Day through a traditional Methodist service. As you walk through the doors, the sanctuary invokes a warm and inviting feeling, offering a reverent and special place to praise our God.

Our traditional worship celebration follows the liturgical seasons, allowing the congregation to journey through these seasons and experience the imagery of the related Christ symbols. The integration of the arts is seasoned with the thematic, bringing a vibrant spirit to what we proclaim. Each worship service offers a special children's message, allowing our youngest disciples to experience and know the love of Christ.

The Sanctuary and Organ

In 2009 a major renovation of the sanctuary was completed that has heightened the worship experience of our traditional service. The project culminated with the construction and installation in 2010 of a new 3,129-pipe Buzard Organ. This wonderful instrument is the only one of its kind in Raleigh and is an integral part of each service. Beautiful slate flooring, stained woods, and artful stained glass windows create a warm and comforting environment for worshipers.
