New Year Blessings

In Scripture from Luke 2:22-40 we hear that throughout his life Jesus grew in wisdom. If we are to be disciples of Jesus Christ and follow the path Christ leads us on, we too must change and grow in wisdom throughout our lives. This next year will be a unique time that will challenge who we are today and what we will become as the Church. We will learn about ourselves, learn about each other, and we will hopefully learn more about who God is, how God is working in the world, and who God is calling us to be as Christian disciples. From this we won’t be the same people we are today, and like Christ, thanks be to God, we can grow and change.
