Pentecost: Two Services, May 20th

Pentecost: May 20th, 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.; No LightHouse; nursery and Sunday School as usual.

The artistry of the stained glass windows in our sanctuary will be brought to life through music, song, and dramatic readings of liturgy. Music performed by Chancel Choir, children’s choir, LightHouse band, and full orchestra celebrates Pentecost, the day of the Holy Spirit's descent to the disciples, on May 20th. We will journey with Christ from prophecy to birth; from early life to spiritual leader; from crucifixion to resurrection; to his command to "Go Ye Therefore." Worship with the pastors and Hayes Barton’s dedicated musicians in celebration of Pentecost, the gift of the Holy Spirit. Experience the diverse repertoire of traditional hymns, classical and contemporary worship anthems, and gospel choruses along with the stained glass representation and poems and readings celebrating this holy day of the church.
